Why I’m Starting looong-made
After years of building things quietly, I finally started looong-made — a space to share what I’ve made, why I made it, and what I’ve learned along the way.

I’ve been building things - code, tools, fixes, ideas - for years. Most of them never got shared. I’d build, tweak, move on.
Sometimes I’d forget what I did. Other times, someone would ask about a project, and I had no record. I’ve had small wins I wish I could revisit—or build on—but they disappeared into forgotten folders and backup drives.
I’ve wanted to start a blog for a long time. But writing felt too slow, too heavy. I didn’t know where to start - or how to make it worth the effort. Now, with the help of AI, I finally can. It’s like having a quiet editor who helps me organize thoughts and trim the mess. That’s enough to get going.
This blog is my way of slowing down and keeping track.
Not everything will be polished. Most won’t go viral. That’s not the point.
I want to document, reflect, and share - carefully.
I’m not trying to teach or impress. Just to build in the open.
If someone finds value in it, great. If not, I’ll still have a record I’m proud of.
Why looong-made
It’s “looong-made” — a little wordplay.
I’m Long. I make things.
And most of my projects take a long time to finish, since I can’t always spend much time on my DIY hobby.
So yeah, everything here is “looong-made”.
What to Expect
- Thoughts on how I think when I build
- Code, tools, toys, DIY fixes
- Systems, routines, solo workflows
- Posts that are ready - when they’re ready
If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, you’re welcome to follow along.
